BRING WATER!!!

3.5 mile jog

Beginner / Advanced / kaos

2/3/4 reverse cat crawls up the stairs
50/100/150 push ups
50/100/150 box jumps
5/10/15 Leg Raises on each side (stand on one leg on a pole or an elevated bench, etc, squat all the way down, and come all the way up. It works every muscle in the leg.
10/20/25 wall climbs (I'll be skipping out on this one)
Duck Walk 100 meters / Cat crawl 100 m / Lunge 200m
Abs
20/30/40 leg lifts
10 norwegian bastards
200 bicycle crunches
1/2 minute plank

That was good. I've discovered that my current weakness is wall-climbs. Tomorrow's probably when the soreness is going to set in for me, but I'm looking forward to next week along with my roomie.

...I may skip the jog, since I'm biking back/forth (Portola/Market, which isn't THAT bad, unless you're from Kansas...).
My knees seem to enjoy it more.

Oh, wait, you infer too much- I only condition for competition and since pk is anti-competition, I don't condition for pk. I do box jumps and planks for the sake of doing box jumps and planks.

On the other hand, if you want to put together some track workouts, I should probably start doing that since my first ultimate tournament in about six years is coming up in three weeks (but be aware that in two weeks I'll be "tapering").

I wanted to do a jog to build up a little bit of endurance, but if you want, I CAN make it hurt :-)

you guys wouldn't be barking about jogging so much if you'd done the jog/sprint version.... Remember, it's 3.5 miles! Technique, maybe we should do that anyway if they're asking for it :P
