Event Description

regular Sunday beginners training
-all levels welcome-

...last Sunday has been to good to miss repeating it, and, especially for beginners, repetitions are all that's needed!

Again, an optional -yet recommended- conditioning warm-up will precede the actual training and instruction.

Fall back location -for any events that forces us to leave the premises- remains West Sunset Community Center, a 5' drive away... but if you get there and can't see us, check the play field and both of its sidestairs before making assumptions...

I don't know if it was because of the sheer size of it (altogether, at some point 30+), because of the new faces that we keep on seeing, or because of the great conditioning (very good, but unlikely for that... lol!), but I really liked today's training.

Aside of the mentioned conditioning work, we had community moments, technique micro-sessions (random, but really based on the individual interests, w/o forcing "moves" on anybody...), good follow-the-leader runs, and playful pk games (pdq, add-on, tags...).

The only complain that I may have is that I didn't get to spend time with everybody, in fact I believe I actually missed greeting somebody altogether (Glenn? Was Andrey there at some point? He did sign up... ).

Anyway, there was a reason for the "dividing the WE training session" thread and poll... we might have to come up with something about that, IMO, mainly to be able to focus on the brand new beginners, 'cause everybody else seemed to be having a killer time...
