Yeah - that was a lot of fun. Thanks for organizing this, Ryan, Roger & Andres.
Super fun! Jen & I had a good time and got to try things we would never do outside.
Hey Marissa,
The Richmond Library is lit at night until about 10pm. It's the one with the bouncy-floor. The "walls" if you can call them that are kinda low, but they are good for practicing precisions on since there's about a 5-6 foot gap between ...
Kudos to LISA on her amazingly solid and totally incredible 7:00 minute low-plank! Girl - you must have abs of steel with platinum reinforcements! Jason and I kept looking at each other and then at the clock in total disbelief . . .

Good idea, I agree. Not a good idea to pay the $50 unless we get to be full members without RSF fee. Hmmm . . . they should have told us that before! Thanks for letting me know. I'll do $5 drop in this time too.
Hi Lisa,
Here is the info that we were given from the guys in charge of the Berkeley gym.
This is what they sent to us:

Ladies, i'd like to positively support the Global Climate Jam campaign by training on this day. There will also be a general BApk basic training co-located here as well, but the space is big enough that we can jam "on our own" and instruction on p...

Can you support the group with transportation? # of seats?
yes, if I am free on the day of the event and am going, I can drive others. There are 4 additional seats in my car.
About Me:
I have no acrobatic or gymnastic training, but I have done martial arts and competed primarily in wushu for years. I also do a lot of biking and running and Parkour seemed like a way to keep running fun. I first saw Parkour when I went to Buffalo New York and my boyfriend and I stayed with some friends of his family. The boy in the house - Max, was big into Parkour and showed us all these cool tricks when we were out in the grocery store parking lot. We took a long walk that night and he made a playground out of the backsides of buildings, random tables and poles, and it was so much fun! Even if I suck at everything in it, I am willing to give it my best shot. I dont expect to learn how to jump off buildings, but learning some basics would be awesome for starters!
Other Physical Disciplines:
martial arts (wushu)
straightsword
running-biiking-swimming (triathlon / marathon / road bike racing)
skiing
Hey, so this is Michelle who e-mailed me, right? Thanks for helping me find this place :) I'm gone with my family Friday-Monday, but I'm going to try to make it later next week. Do people get together every evening at Kezar?
i really would but i have church and it ends at around 12:30... i hope you guys have fun! i really wanna practice more during the weekdays but summer school started =(
hey Michelle! wow i like your new page layout, looks good! anyway, this sunday i'm shooting to train at a location that has a playground, what do you think about west sunset, or sloat?
Members can go hit any spot downtown, and shoot an alert to the whole group... somebody will show.
If you have ideas for micro-session suitable spots, list them in the two discussions below, for midday and late pm trainings.
I think what the story above shows is that fear is not entirely an internal process. The Isreali guy understood the difference between when someone really wants to kill him and when someone is expressing something else which has very little to do ...

Good post.
Yes, l think fear is like an obstacle in that we should pay good attention to it when it gets in our way, but we should also overcome it when necessary.
