It would be nice if any brand-new-kid-on-the-block (only absolute beginners, without previous experience training parkour, or at least training with others...) would want to tell us about their first day impressions here. Thanks, BAPK

Hi my name is Kevin, first post.
I'm totally new to parkour, at this point I'm really just interested in it and nothing more. I want to get started with training, but I work sunday thru wednesday. I'm wondering if there are any other opportunities besides sundays and tuesdays to get with other people to train. I'm always available on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Thanks in advance for your help, this seems like a really great community and I hope to participate in it.
Sunday was my first training and it was great! Nick led an intense warmup and then Giorgio guided us through the basics: under-bars, over-bars, vault progressions... An amazing work out that left me hungry for more!
Something interesting is that I had read the "how to be prepared" post linked from the start kit, where SafeNSure (which I later realized was Giorgio!) recommends carrying a first-aid kit to practice and it actually came in handy! I pulled some skin while doing some stair climbing (the concrete was quite sharp) and the fact that I had a first-aid kit allowed me to patch myself up with some band-aids and continue the practice. Thanks for the tip, Giorgio!
I should also add that it might be a good idea to put on some sunscreen while practicing outside. I brought some with me but forgot to put it on with all the excitement and my shoulders haven't recovered yet.
All in all, an awesome experience and can't wait for next session!
I dont mind travelling, but I live out In Tracy, Is there anyone out here close by?
You mean time to go play some more right?

How would one know when they are beyond a beginner? :O
