This past Sunday, I finally met up with the women of PK. It was great and everyone was super nice. I really have to move to SF to enjoy the full benefits of hanging out with the SF Pk-ers. Jodie was really encouraging and I did a lot more QM exercises than I would have done by myself.

Hello All! Summer is upon us and I will be in Paris until July 1st, so I won't be able to attend any jams or sessions for June. I do want to get better and I think I've achieved most of the goals I wanted for Spring 2009 so I can't wait to come back and improve with you guys in San Jose, San Francisco, and especially the girls of BAPK.

So, lately, I've had dreams where my legs and knees (particularly my knees) have been hurting a lot and I've woken up from them because they really have been hurting. I'm guessing this is from doing a lot of precision and power jumping but I'm not sure. Anyone else experience this? Anyway, I've stopped doing so much of that and have started concentrating on walking on railings and catwalks.

You ARE gonna get "other physical disabilities" IF you "soon will be able to jump off 2 story buildings too".

For some introductory understanding of what you are going to jump into by starting PK training, you may want to check this definition of parkour and a very handy beginners guide.
Then make sure to touch base with these kids and/or these gals, who have a good understanding of what this is all about...
