About Me:
I'm a warrior -- a writer, philosopher, activist and traceur, born and raised in the Bay Area and dedicated to serving Life, Love and Truth. I am also a student of massage therapy and holistic healing arts at the World School in SF.

I've been using my surroundings as a playground my whole life, but have only been conscious of "parkour" proper for about three years now. I am recovering from an early-2008 ankle injury, just getting back into street-worthy physical shape, and I'm very interested in finding a community of friendly parkour practitioners to train with.

I live in Pacifica, I love sunshine and community and home-grown fruits and vegetables. I can sometimes be found training at AcroSports SF, at World Team USA Muay Thai/MMA, or climbing trees in Golden Gate Park. I have two little dogs, Peanut and Phyllis. I am currently in the midst of transitioning from a life of cultural conditioning and unhealthy habits into a life of discipline and truth. I quit smoking (spliffs and blunts) a few months ago, and am now trying to develop control over my other sense cravings -- namely, sugar, caffeine, and negligent throughts. I am trekking through uncharted territories in life right now, trying to break out of my old comfort zones as much as possible. As Frederick Douglass said, 'If there is no struggle, there is no progress.'

I believe in the existence of happiness and suffering, I believe in fundamental human equality, and I believe these truths to be incompatible with the concepts of Empire and a Ruling Class. I am interested in doing my part to advance this Movement of Movements -- toward peace, participatory democracy, human rights, sustainability, human dignity, and LOVE! And so I am a revolutionary -- a peaceful, democratic revolutionary. I believe we can join together, wrest power from the hands of the few who profit from destruction, and create a truly awesome and beautiful future. I'm always looking for friends and allies.

I look forward to training with you -- building discipline, confidence, muscles and friendships with you. I'm always down to discuss truth or anything else -- and also always down to silently negotiate objects and flow. I love constructive criticism and am a strong believer in the beginner mentality.

May your movements be fluid and safe.

Peace!
Other Physical Disciplines:
Tree-climbing, ocean swimming, hackey sack, soccer, basketball, scuba diving, muay thai, playing with puppies...

What I like about this vid is that it makes parkour look like it's slowing everything down instead of speeding things up, like most vids portray it. It seems to sacrifice the physical side of parkour to portray more of the (dare I say it) spiritual…
