Train Hard - Stay Humble

Information

South Bay

We all know how hard it is to get up to the jams in SF every weekend. How about organizing a couple jams closer to home and repping the South Bay?

Had alot of fun coming out to the first South bay Saturday, nice to meet everyone.

Sad I couldn't finish off that table kong I was trying.

We should def go to Downtown Sunnyvale sometime soon!

...everybody should feel comfortable taking a break when they feel they need it.

Nevertheless, maybe after clearing w/your doc, make sure you don't drop out of form, which could happen with a complete stop of more that 10/15 days.
That could have mood swings consequences (it does for me...).

There are plenty of low-, to medium-impact options:
- gym: combination step machine and upper body lifting;
- jogging up to running (don't get tempted, though into jumping stuff, if you really don't want to bang anything);
- biking (watch those pedals!)
- shin guards wearing
- swimming (no... just kidding!)
and so on...

Anyway: stay active and upbeat!
;)

I swear I only tapped the right shin against the wall, but it swelled up nice and plump, and I was back to limping. And for some reason, now there's a big blue spot on my left shin now, so I'm finally taking the hint and letting my legs heal up.

:(

When I first read that, I thought "Oh, man, that's a long time", but then I realized it's December already. Do whatever it takes to stay healthy, then give it a little extra, just in case. Hope you heal up fast.

Guys, yesterday may have been my last day training for the year. I haven't gotten a chance to talk to a doctor yet, but both my legs are pretty torn up. So I'm probably going to miss out on next week's meets and will probably just wait for my legs to be 100% before risking further injury. So, hopefully I'll be back by the first session of the new year.

Hello. its Ryan

So, Was shown this place by SafeNSure from SFPK.

I am just getting healed up from being hit by a car on my motorcycle breaking my foot in two places, and tearing all the muscles between my left ribs.

I kinda know a bunch of places, in the cities of Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Cupetino and thats mostly my area. I live in Sunnyvale right by the police station. Would love to meet up with people asap and get back in the action
