Event Description

This will work best with your help! We'll need help coordinating places to stay, rides for people during the jam, info sharing on carpooling from other parts of the state or country, cheap airfare, etc., etc. This is not just an opportunity to train and have fun, but a chance to deepen the connections with traceurs from other areas, as well as develop leadership skills within the community.

After the success of the Massive West Coast Jam last year and the big California Jam down south in October, several tracers from the communities involved in that thought it was too awesome to not happen again. Hopefully 2010 will be a great year for California, with a Spring and Fall jam and another Massive West Coast Jam.

If you are interested in helping with any part of bringing parkour peeps together (hosting out-of-towners, carpooling, helping with food, any other logistics) you can email Brett directly at beretta@sfparkour.com or check out the discussion threads at SFPK (housing, rides), PKCali and BApk.

Hey is anyone able to give me a ride to/from Marin from SF? I live in Nob Hill but I'll be at Fort Miley for the first stretch.

Does anybody want to bring a projector so we can watch a movie on Saturday night at the gym? It would be fun to watch a movie with parkour in it. Maybe we should get some ice-cream or popcorn? =P I think some of the guys from SFPK will be going shopping at Costco before the BBQ. Don't forget that minors need to bring a signed waiver to CFM if they're coming for the gym jam. You can download one at www.CrossFitMarin.com > schedule. If anyone needs to call me, my phone # is 415.Two-hundred.Seventy-eight.Seventy-four. Remember you can sleep over at the gym on Saturday night if you need a place. Let me know.

I could probably give you a ride, chomper. I'll be heading up from San Mateo I'm gonna have to leave the event around 6pm so you may want to find another ride back, if your planning on staying longer.

I wouldn't necessarily say this is that great of a teaching/learning event in the usual sense, but it will be a good opportunity to see a variety of different styles which is certainly important to achieving a broad understanding of parkour. And since Sunday is basically on my home grounds, I'll be in Berkeley this time around.

EVERY traceur in the Bay should be going to this. Both days. Teach them anywhere. They have probably already seen most of the stupid shit on Youtube anyways. Teach them right and they will Train right.

DONT MISS OUT!
