Event Description

regular Sunday beginners training
-all levels welcome-

...after a very good training session last week we would like to repeat, to make sure we continue the new good habit of conditioning, after warming up, and before working on techniques!

We know GWHS really well and we'll be doing the best use of the space based on the various levels, even in Chris's absence...
=)

This time we should remember to learn progressing based on exactly this progression video from Kaos.

...yeah!
I was pretty impressed with the turnout (with these nice, cozy November's weather...lol!), with latecomers Seng and Kamau, all-in-all 21 peeps.
Also, was stoked that almost all of the 4 or 5 brand newcomers got the "treacherous" cat leap, which as you could see (and have experienced) is a mental challenge also for experienced traceurs...
Thanks Ryan for making us thoroughly warm up, which is good (especially for the seniors), before throwing our bodies around.

It seems that GWHS never gets boring, even if it's probably a good idea to keep on rotating the Sunday session every so often to get more exposure to the real world...

Check for updates during the week to see what we are gonna hit next Sunday.
Good job everybody!

I can give rides returning to the East Bay but I've got plans in the city beforehand so I'll be arriving a little late today.

...check up the "rides!" thread.
You may want to hit up some of the East Bayers...
;)
Otherwise, if you decide to Bart/Muni it, I can pick you up at Castro station...

Is anyone trying to carpool from the Danville/Walnut Creek area?

lol, that's so cool. I think they do what google does, just more elaborately. They have a car with cameras set up on the roof pointing in all directions, they take a picture and it creates this panorama view.
