I can't make it today, unfortunately. I sort of gave myself other plans when I thought that nothing was happening. And I'm wearing flip-flops and relatively nice khakis. :-)

I might actually make it to the Berkeley sunday session, though.

I work right next to UN Plaza and I haven't seen much interesting there (unless you want to kong-to-cat over the BART entries). It's kinda a big, flat plaza with very little elevation changes and lots of bummies. The Asian Art Museum exterior has some walls and odd concrete structures (like where the bike rack is at Larkin/Macallister), but I'd imagine it wouldn't be long before you get the boot. Maybe try the Hastings law school on Hyde/Macallister.

...instead of flip-floping the whole week, somebody could have scouted the area around civic center/city hall, which is two blocks away from Manalo Draves Park.

I have to believe that there MUST be something to train with around United Nations Plaza

so, I'll be there at 5:10/5:20 (Friday 10/24).

i'll be coming from manalo draves, so if there's a spot near civic center, that'd be cool. otherwise, i'd put a vote in for embarcadero/JHP, but i'm definitely not opposed to going to aquatic park

Not sure if we figured out a plan for tomorrow. Are we going to wait until Giorgio calls to meet up with him around 5:15ish around Civic Center or are we going to meet at Aquatic Park or Justin Herman Plaza etc?

Unfortunately, I cannot make it that early for (Manalo Draves Park). But I can try to catch up with y'all afterwards...around 5:15ish?

For Friday 10/24 we may want to consider this already scheduled event.
Starts earlier than our usual, but we could meet there whenever and then go run at civic center or city hall...
