Aha. I was wondering where that was. Don't think I can do 6 but we'll see.

Anybody up for a jam Thursday night in Berkeley at around 9:00? Me and my friend will both be around doing something at the University. I could also do earlier in the day, around 4:00.

Yeah, sure. Looks like messenger33 would be up for something on campus Thursday night, we could join you there. We'd be available around 8:00 or 9:00 that night.

Hey I'm working on a documentary on parkour and the philosophies of it. Would you be willing to do an interview and allow us to film some of your skills? The sooner the better.

LOL! I was thinking "why would Duper think of a fare?" (aka: toll)

Ah, I see now. Well you're in luck because Berkeley has a lot to offer, not just in physical space but also in traceurs. If you like general conditioning, there are folks doing that Monday, Wednesday and I think also Saturday. Thursday is the one of…

Eli,
if/when you've got some time would you start a new thread and copy/paste your report on the "meeting with the dean of students, the head of public safety, and the UoR insurance lawyer " you had in SoCal, giving some background about it?
(I run into it reading about other stuff...).

That could be tremendously useful, since we are still completely "stealth" here in SF, and it could inspire a conversation, as well as provide some elements for future proposals.

According to Google maps, it's a 48 minute walk but a 15 minute bus ride (AC transit #51). It's an easy bike ride, too (only slight uphill grade northbound). If you have problems, gimme a call (415)314-0370.

Welcome to BAPK. Come out to Berkeley on Thursday- we'll be running around the Cal campus (easiest is to go a couple stops to Rockridge and then just roll up College Ave, otherwise transfer to Richmond train, get off at downtown Berkeley). Should become a more regular session as the academic year starts, though the day might change.

Hi Eli! And welcome...

Try to make it out Sunday, that's by far our most regular, structured and attended training.

Also take a look at this RIDES thread, to come over to SF, and at the East Bay group, to hang out with kids over there...
;)

Hope to see you soon!

I found this pretty inspirational. PARKOUR. Uh. Before anyone else makes a fuss, it's efficiently, not creatively.

We all know how hard it is to get up to the jams in SF every weekend. How about organizing a couple jams closer to home and repping the South Bay?
