Train Hard - Stay Humble

Well, looking at the multiple encounters with security we had at De Anza, I'd say we need a few other spots to go to, either for backup place, or just simply another location we can enjoy for a bit of diversity. If anyone finds any good ones around, please post the address as well as the google maps location. Picture of the place would be great too.

check out homestead high school, it seems okay
....any chance you can get the janitor fired? ;P

Ok, no, that'd be really mean and selfish. But damn, it would've been a really nice spot.
meh... that janitor is a bitch
I went with some friends to a place called Nueva School. It's in hillsbourough, (south of san bruno just off of 280). The address is 6565 Skyline Blvd Hillsborough, CA 94010 (this might be above what would be considered the south bay, but it's good to know about). It's freaking AMAZING!! The pictures on the link don't do it justice. It's got some really cool sets of handrails, every building seems like you can make your way up to the rooftops, and the architecture is pretty unique in general. In fact it won an award for it's architecture. When you look at the pics, make sure you get a look at the wooden paneling stuff they got. It's all over the place, it's like having ladders all over the campus.
Here's some pics I found
Sniff Sniff... Whats that? Do I smell a jam in the near future?
Hm, that's quite a long drive.....it depends on how many people are willing to go. I'm all for it; if people are interested then we get go there next week.

How many other people are willing to travel there? I'm willing to provide transportation.
We were already planning a March 29 Sunday session at Cap, (Capuchino HS, in Milbrae), which is a fantastic and secure training ground that we know well.
Plus of cap is also proximity w/BART-Caltrain...

It's always difficult to cut short Cap, but we could stop by at Nueva School for an hour or so on the way back...

What do you think?
I finally found an open gym in the South Bay....

It's mainly based around tricking, so I'm unsure of what sort of obstacles are there, but at least one member of the prestigious Loopkicks trains/teaches there. It's rather affordable at a $10 entry free for an unlimited time training; again, not sure of the obstacles, but it would definitely be a good spot for aspiring freerunners. I'll be checking it out this Tuesday and see how it goes.
thought i would add a couple of the places we went to recently. Rengstorff park in mountain view is off limits we were told we weren't aloud to do anything be security. Santa Clara central park was a very nice spot not a lot of spots there but they were all great. There are some amazing concrete zig zag ramps, an old wooden playground, some nice bars that are part of an exercise course and some okay rails in an amphitheater area.
