Oh sweet, yeah I was left a comment about that thread on sfpk. I'll try to make it. And if I remember correctly we somewhat formally met at the sfpk beginner's session on the 9th.. But I wouldnt expect you to remember me anyway considering you more than likely meet a lot of people.. Haha. Well anyways, awesome of you to have these sessions nearby. I'll try to make it to these trainings as much as possible.

Much Appreciated.

I'm from Dublin and It'd be cool to train with any others.. I'm relatively new but I try as best as I can to progress no matter how many bails or fails I may encounter.. Looking to train as much as I can, Dublin/Pleasanton area would be sweet.

Thanks,

Eddie.

Me and several other people are looking for new spots to train in Brentwood-Antioch. Any ideas? We have exhausted a lot of out spaces and are looking for more complex obstacles and less... Grass. xD I also provide rides when possible, assuming you assist in the cost of gas since I'm kinda broke. If you're in the area, let me know. We made a page recently, http://www.facebook.com/pages/Metro-Rush/186077568081360 Ignore the silly pictures. check out the video draft toward the bottom. If you would like to train with us, please let me know. We'd be glad to help you, or vice versa if you are willing.

Welcome! It's great to see so many people showing genuine interest in safe progression. Remember; you do not have to look good doing everything to be respected here. The only way you learn anything is by failing first. You'll fail, you'll get hurt, but you'll also get better at damage control. Once you have that control and confidence, it will carry you far.

Hi Matt, and others. I also live in Benicia. I am relatively new to freerunning or parkour per se. Though I often did similar freerunning with less gynmastics in my late teens to mid 20s, running through forests and flowing around various objects which would otherwise be in the way of a direct route. My main focus has been and is Tai Chi Qigong & Zhan Zhuang.

Though Im attracted to supplementing these with re and further developing some aspects of what Ive seen from parkour and freerunning videos. Will orient more to safer expressions though, as I rely on my body for my health and profession, so back flips off buildling and the like Im not interested in.

I would be open to meeting up if you want, Matt in Benicia sometime, if you feel like sharing what you know and practicing some with a relative beginner to parkour?

Im 16 and i live in Benicia, i guess im pretty experienced, i have been training alone for 2 years, and now more and more people are starting up in my town, so if anyone is ever in the Benicia/Vallejo area, just message me, and ill set up a session.

Hi Amar, glad to hear the tips are working out for you; I'm still working on making a double as natural as a single during an extended run. Happy new year to you, too.

Hey everyone, I was watching Brian Orosco on Ninja Warrior and he reminded me of everyone in the bay area parkour community. Just wanted to wish you all a happy new year. Take care and train hard.

(Also Benny and Seng thanks for the double kong tips, I got them down pat now)
