We have been talking quite a bit about this (AeroSF/Ryan and I had a looong thread going on artificial and/or portable obstacles in "another" forum...) and with the opportunity of this posting of mine on PKNA, I would like to re-gather all information in one thread, and getting the discussion going again.
I've dug out all the info for which we can claim some sort of intellectual property... lol... or that is in the public domain.
On BApk we talked about this topic on different threads:
- Parkour Vision
- Burning Man 2009 (equipment)
- Scaffolding Spots

(p.s. all of this thread has been stolen for knowledge)
...that is pretty cool.
Way to go being involved in that project after almost 5 years talking about this.
Wish this would have happened a bit more centrally, or where a larger population could have accessed it on a regular basis, but "god job City of Lathrop, CA!!!", and instead "we suck, City of SF!"... oh well, at least they cleaned up the Bunkers.
No worries about the content of this thread (that has more than 1300 views?!?), which is not our's but just a collection of other's ideas.
It's a not-for-profit service as everything else provided by this community.
:)
...here you go: more reasons why Parkour (and a Parkour park) is good for you (and your "borough"!).
Interesting national (Denmark, you guessed it right) perspective and opinions from the whole spectrum.

This thread was started in 2008 (I'm AeroSFCity). It only took 6 years to actually get one...
