Props for believing in this and contribute to making it happen!
The idea of this goes way back (http://baparkour.ning.com/forum/topics/parkour-parks), and even if Lathrop is not Manhattan, Miami or Venice Beach, or SF's North Beach it's an important milestone of public policy in favor of Parkour.
It would be interesting to hear or read the story of and behind the realization of this, and how local authorities justified and tackled all the budgetary and liability issues that havehindered -and still are- the proliferation of this type efforts around the country.
