Train Hard - Stay Humble

Since 7th grade i've been addicted to one of the most unhealthy beverages known to mankind, soda. For

some reason it took me till now to realize how much better shape I could be in if I just stopped. Starting

today I'm going to try my best to drink water instead of soda, and hopefully lose some monumental

poundage. Not sure why but I felt like writing this made it more official... like a pledge or something, idk.

Mmm sparkling water with lime... I'm also a fan of diy teas sans refined sweeteners - honey or citrus again make good additives. Good luck.. your body will thank you!

in the end, all sugary drinks are bad for you, even the "diet" ones. juice, vitamin water, anything with sugar really. the sparkling water seems like a good alternative.

Sparkling water with a dash of orange or grapefruit juice is a 'progression' if you can't stop the soda cold turkey.
After that -- sparkling water with lime. Yummmm!!

Arizona teas have just as much sugar; they're really not any better for you.

Many of us, at different time of their lives, are/have been/will be addicted to something.
Addiction leads naturally to exceeding any normal/acceptable/harmless consumption, and hence the problems...

While never been addicted ("to soda"... lol!), I was a heavy consumer once, and I still enjoy a can at times, BUT:
- zero calories
- never before a meal
- never before or after exercising
- never in the morning
- never if there's a 'cooler' alternative (=drinks allowed after 21), which one usually consumes in a fraction of the quantity you would consume soda
- always as a substitute to another possible 'treat' (candy, chocolate, cake, ice cream, etc.)

If you put all those limitations together, you'll have probably cut down even a regular consumption to a very insignificant, occasional level...
Basically tricking your mind.
;)
