Event Description

A beginner's Parkour training session, in the South Bay area. The area will be rather simple and limited as to what you can do, as this event and location has first timers in mind. However, the upside to this place is that there is absolutely no security, so we don't need to worry so much about that.

Comment by Dogwithrabiez on October 19, 2008 at 9:22pm: Eh, if you guys want, I can bring my camera which has better video recording(The only thing it has better than other cameras) next time. Video cameras I find to be a bit cumbersome, and I don't like wasting disks. Cameras are just record, upload, delete, charge batteries, repeat.

Comment by steve on October 19, 2008 at 8:02pm: Hey thanks for organizing this, it was pretty fun! That spot is pretty decent for beginners, hopefully more ppl will show up next time. Cool thing about that place is that 8 (?) ft wall for wall climbing practice.

Comment by Dogwithrabiez on October 19, 2008 at 4:18pm: Well, that was a rather small turnout of people, four besides myself. We had two complete first timers(I think... I know one was), and they learned the Kong, Turn/Reverse vault, and the Lazy vault all in one session. I'd say it was fairly decent, but seeing as how many people there are in the South Bay group, I'm disappointed that more didn't show up. No run ins with security this time, SafeNSure, though we had a story all concocted up and ready to go just in case. :P

From the street view on Google it looks like the playground has some stuff too... be creative!
Only avoid it if there are toddlers around, or kids start copying you, and pls. for no reason get in confrontation w/parents or such...
