Um, yeah, isn't this session just to practice filming and discussing things?

I don't know if you read my earlier comment, but it take me an hour to drive to SF, then an hour to drive back. So 10PM is a no go. I don't think I can do any later than 3 or so.

i'm with chris. slooooow down.

you don't need the latest and greatest technology to make a good film. it's the people working the technology who do that (how many ridiculously boring movies have you seen that have state of the art special effects? if the movie sucks, no one cares what quality it's in). if you have any kind of camera that you can hook up to a comp for editing, you're good to go.

and btw i should be out of town by then as well. art school winter break :D

What is the rush? Why buy professional equipment now? I'd recommend that you make a rough draft first with the equipment you currently have. Use a draft to hone your skills and establish a direction for the project.

hmm... i think midday generally has bad lighting so i'd say either early or late... but for preliminary planning and filming I'm pretty sure we can cut some slack...
