....that's messed up. While it's good to know that no fellow tracuer has died, this kind of humor is in really bad taste, and may reflect badly on the parkour community as a whole. :\
I don't know if this reflects badly on parkour as a whole, the response it generated, even witnessed on this site, in my opinion, shows the genuine care traceurs have for one another and how much we value safety while striving for self-improvement.
Pathetic indeed...
I wouldn't even consider it humor.
This ill-advised prank has at least showed the sympathy and the concerns of the -rest of- the Parkour community.
Nevertheless it is really despicable that the focus on safety had to be ignited by such a negative, and poorly delivered, "joke"...
Doesn't reflect good on the Greek pk community, in my personal opinion, that should have shouted "foul!" right away.

agreed. crap like that isn't funny when it's as serious a concern as this. humor is about place and timing - this was not that time, and an international pk site was definitely not the place. stuff like that needs to be kept in-group to the small collection of people who get the joke.
I don't think it in funny nor appropriate to fake the death of anybody unless it is approved by the person whose death is being faked, and it does not hurt the reputation of anyone outside of the people who are in on it.
