Train Hard - Stay Humble

Hey whats up every one so I was just talking with Ryan about the upcoming demonstration at fisherman's warf that we will be doing next month. He mentioned that we have a budget of about 150 dollars that we can use building or acquiring new equipment. Any ways we are looking for ideas of what we could get or what people would like to see at the demonstrations as far as obstacles go. We really want to add some new stuff and get more creative with what we can do at demonstrations so post away.

Always interesting topic.

Check out also previous, somehow related threads for ideas:
- "Relay For Life Demo",
- "Fundraising for BApk projects, flyers, banners, better demo/clinics",
- "Bart/Muni station demo/clinic?",
- "Parkour Parks".
umm just saying, thats a small budget. for the warf, would built in places work? and with that money, making things with plywood and 2x4s might be the best, though plywood is expensive.
I built a vault box for about $50, most of which was the cost of the plywood (about $35 for a sheet of 3/4"). I think Lethalbeef may have borrowed it for the recent Power to the Peaceful event, or maybe they just modified my initial version since it the boxes in this thread look different. Seems that Ryan was a part of building them so maybe he's already got some good ideas? For demos, I think precision jump/landing targets made of 2x4s works fine, too, as long as they are set on grass or otherwise made to not slide; you can make a set with one 8' stud so they're about $2-3 a set.
We already have a good amount of objects so were more looking to add to that. Every thing is going to be hand built so we can make at least one or two items.
