Event Description

Jumpin' June Jam!

This training provides a healthy atmosphere for new female practitioners to start parkour, and for everyone to advance in a safe way. We'll plan for 30 minutes of stretching, warming up, and conditioning before jumping into it! The usual instruction will be available for those who want it as well as some free time at the end.

if you (Ladies) haven't done so yet, sign up for BApk Girls where we'll have some relevant information and discussions. also, get some updates and reminders, and ask questions too!

awesome weather today, how often do you get HOT in the sunset?! cozy group of 4 traceuses today among 100+ people there for the Rec Connect beginning of summer bbq! Ryan welcomed us/everybody and invited us to indulge in the vegetarian bbq; thanks Ryan!! all in all we had a great training that included a delicious blend of a lot of conditioning and technique and skills. after warm up, stretching, and QM, we precision, height, and distance jumped! we moved over to some rail work-- cat crawling, walking on, speed, kong, lazy, bear, turn, and gate vaults! we worked on handstands against a wall and on the grass. and then we moved away from all the festivities (dances, music, food, steel drums) and practiced wall runs. here, we also did traverses and then busted out with a bunch more conditioning exercises to build up our arms, shoulders, backs, and yet again quads. moving even farther from the beaten path, we trained pop vaults on a chain link fence and climbed around the play-structure. we ended with some ab work exercises and stretching at the end. great day!
