Train Hard - Stay Humble

Information

South Bay

We all know how hard it is to get up to the jams in SF every weekend. How about organizing a couple jams closer to home and repping the South Bay?

Sweet, we can always use more people. By posting, you've already done more than 80% of the members in the South Bay group! (No offense to the rest of you.....but *hint hint* ;) )

btw, nice avatar. I love Breaking Benjamin.

...ehh.
It's not easy... I was telling Tim (or Tom... lol...) the other day that when Kaos started in SF last year he had 3/4 people for a couple of months... and that was in Spring!

Even with the current Parkour explosion the season, weather, school, work, economy, festivities, relative novelty of the South Bay group will make it a bit slow in picking up speed,,,
I had actually a couple of peeps that attended the "BApk Sunday" at the Anza txt-ing that they couldn't make it even if they'd wanted.

The most important element that will make the group succeed is a core group of reliable people training quite regularly, not kidding around, and welcoming of everyone, no matter sex, ethnicity, age, skill level, and willing to train them/with them...

Seems to me you are on the good road.

So, third week I've been doing this, and I'm finding we have a small group of regulars. This is comprised of pyz.particle (Patrick), Dogwithrabiez (Tim), Fyrel (Tom), steve (Steve), and myself. We're all sort of amazed that, with 26 members in the group as of this writing, we have such a small number coming to our weekly South Bay meets.

Are Saturdays not working for people? Is it the locations (Saratoga/Cupertino)? What could we do to pull in more South Bay'ers?
