Event Description

Please -anybody reading this and coming- sign-up and/or RSVP!

...we'll be meeting exactly where described on the map above, and we'll be warming up at the nearby WW2 battery; where we'll spend most of the time; try to show up not later than 7:30.

Session description:

This training provides a healthy and motivated atmosphere for existing practitioners to progress their parkour, and to do this in a safe, peer-reviewed, no-BS and no-sitting around way. :)

The goal of these sessions is to enhance the effectiveness of our parkour practice, through advancements in precision, speed, control, power, stamina, resistance, determination and confidence. The mean to achieve this, will be perfecting short combinations of basic movements through intense repetitions in order to ultimately trigger instinctive reactions and reduce transition time.

The more experienced practitioners will set a positive example by focusing on a thorough warm up, dynamic stretching, cardio-vascular resistance and precise repetition of movement. There will be no showing off, rather humbly passing on of knowledge, in a group effort to keep up the pace of the drills and advance together. Also we will try to maintain our focus on uninterrupted motion from drill start to finish (A-to-B). All while keeping safety as paramount.

While there may be different physical or technical skill levels represented at these sessions, everyone will keep an eye out for anybody needing advice or encouragement. Absolute novices, with no previous experience in group training of parkour or other physical disciplines, are advised to consider first beginning with a Basic Training (Sundays).

The perception that parkour practice is fun, yet being "a discipline, not a game" will be tangible and is required.

Everybody pls. check this frequently asked questions about liability.

Should it drizzle or rain tonight, we won't be waiting at the South East corner of campus too long (19th Ave. @ Holloway Ave.), but proceed to the covered area of Hensill Hall, 500 yards North along 19th Av.

Otherwise we'll warm up at the parking lot right on 19th and Holloway (end of Varela Ave? See map...), as always, and then decide where to go.

One of those unlabeled buttons is for a link, huh? And its the user's that the parser is too ineptly written to handle that?

I didn't understand the rest of your message, but yep, there's the link to the webster on youtube; from the URI I posted.

Did you use the "insert link" button?

When you do a [a href="..." target="_blank"]"XYZ"[/a] tab is inserted (only, with angle parenthesis), which allows to insert a link opening in a new window/tab, and displaying what you prefer (i.e.: "XYZ").
It looks like some of the angle parenthesis got deleted in the process.

What happened to the URL I posted. It got turned into "a href="..." target="_blank" ?! That's not what I wrote!

Further than I wanted to drive. I stuck by home (SoMa). Yerba Buena and Jewish museum were low key (didn't get kicked out). Worked on kongs and cats. Found some signs by Academy of Art and worked on rail precision by Millenium sq.

Saw Brian in the gym at my first WO (early afternoon) and got a few pointers on precisions.

SoMa has a lot of good places to PK. Also wanna try around Mission.

I want to continue to work on kongs, rail precisions, and cat leaps.

I also want to learn how to do front flip and handspring.
