Was out running errands so I took a couple hours to stop by a local school and do some conditioning - plus I knew I wouldn't be able to go to the gym Thursday, so I wanted to get stuff in. Did backwards qm up and down every staircase I could find, and found a wall I could do repetitive work for muscle ups. I also drilled lazies by vaulting one way and immediately going back over way - something the guys had been playing with at the SD jam. At the least it's improving my ambidexterity. Also tried my rolls on cement, but I wasn't as successful as I was with Greg :/ Practice practice practice...
Most everything was done barefoot since I'd come wearing flipflops. I took the opportunity to work on my landing with barefoot precisions, and focused on how I ran, thinking of this
Looking forward to this weekend. The Sat UCLA group is looking to be light since most folks are posting for Sunday, but I enjoy training in a small group now and then - still social and helpful, but more focused/repetitive if need be. Then Sunday, Taylor has a conditioning session set up at our old high school. Sounds like a relaxing weekend... well not "relaxing," but quiet ;] Just hope the heat doesn't murder us.
