More prone to injury? 1 Reply

Welcome new members! Glad to see more of us joining! So I've now been PK'ing nearly a year and half with a long dry spell in the latter half of 2010. So far, nothing broken! But news has not been…Continue

Yep, I'm "mid-40" also. Looking to train safely along with my 13 year old son who has some good leaping power. Both of us have forward rolls down from martial arts. I'm not too old to roll, ha ha.

Ha, ha, ha... well, I would be delighted - and thankful - knowing I am not only mid-40 "crazy" :-) (as my wife puts it).

Well, I told her: pick one of two: rock climbing or parkour? She thinks parkour is still safer ;-)

Joke aside, it is great to see there are others interested in PK who share view that the age should not be a problem to have fun and enjoy being outdoors and improving our skills, body, and mind.

Please see below for age related innuendos...

:)

Instead, a counter-question could be: what would you ask/do if you would meet a subject in the space/time condition you are looking for?

;)

Safe N Sure, ... I'm up there with you! I'm looking forward to some fun PK. Trying to recruit some friends to sign up as well.

Of course, the second line of the song is even more telling ... :)

That certainly was a useful article. Thanks for the pointer.

Another renaming could be "Too old to rock and roll?!?"

Please check this interesting article on the topic.

Hahaha!
I would almost want to make a sub-group "Too Old to Roll", since, as Mick Jagger, Bruce Willis and Ted Kennedy proved, one is never too old to 'rock'...
;)

I guess you'll be surprise of how many 'mature' practitioners you will encounter, if you allow yourself to dare.
This, provided everyone will 'come' out online as we do...
:)

Talking for myself: I was walking on this world before humanity leaped on the moon...
