Event Description

Harkening back to the Nike parkour ads featuring Sebastian Foucan fleeing from a chicken, Thanksgiving will feature parkour in Berkeley, fleeing from no animals in particular.

Really, I'm just posting to see who will be in town and up for some running around. I figure those of us who are in town may have evening plans so let's get the pk out of the way while everyone else is watching football. Early start means all daytime training!

I've been away from Berkeley practices for a month so I'm excited to see all the new faces. I will less excited to train by myself if everyone is away, but either way, I'm planning on being out there regardless of weather.

If people want to start earlier or later, please post an opinion.

Not sure about lighting at Laney; a recon run may be in order. I'm also wondering if there are any security issues at the various theological schools in the neighborhood just north of the Cal campus- guess I'll have to play pedestrian and check some of those out since they are only a few blocks from me.

Comment by Seng on November 22, 2008 at 8:32pm: Start time moved up to noon. For the sake of simplicity, let's meet at the usual spot, on the steps in front of Doe Library (ie the north side, other side of the building from where "B" is marked on the Google map).

Since I've been away for so long, I am tempted to do the Pre-pre-emptive workout as well. It's like any midweek pk weekend!
