This is the standing weekly jam session at UC-Berkeley. Since it's so regular and often doesn't get reposted weekly, I'm going to be lazy and re-use this event page so check the date on the comments section before responding directly. Anytime school is in session (aside from dead days and finals week), it's pretty safe to assume people are training even if this event isn't posted. For latest updates, check
We'll meet in front of Doe Memorial Library (on the north side by the Memorial Glade), warm up, possibly do some light conditioning, then have open jamming for another 2 hours or so. Please call or check the Twitter feed if you arrive late and don't see us, we've probably moved to another location on campus.
Being a jam, this is a mostly unstructured session with a range of skill levels in attendance from novice on up. Agenda will be determined by practical consensus (ie someone makes a suggestion on where to go, starts walking and ideally we stay together as a group). While there are always experienced tracers available to advise newer tracers on building a solid foundation of skills, the emphasis of the session will be on exploring and collaborating.
If you're considering this as your first session, please come out and see what it's all about. If you're not sure what to do when you get there, just ask (or look bewildered, we'll get you moving).
