Three years after loosing part of his right hand to an M-1000 firecracker, 16 years-old Carlos is doing parkour, which "involves running, jumping, climbing, and vaulting through urban areas dense with obstacles". (Indeed!)
"Now a junior at Freedom High School in Oakley, he has a right hand that, upon first glance, looks almost normal. He is a varsity golfer and an award-winning wrestler. He snowboards, does parkour, and runs long distances. He can squat 320 pounds and does countless repetitions of fingertip pushups—all while making the honor roll and taking three advanced placement (AP) classes".
Read how an accident, microsurgery and parkour changed his life.
And if anybody knows him or meets him, please invite him out to train with us sometime.
