On March 1, 2010 St. Petersburg's Parkour Federation (http://pkcity.ru) invited the Media to attend a press conference and organized a demo, comparing the risks and danger of training in the poorly engineered Sport-Center "ZHEST" to the risks of training outdoor in the Russian winter and on icy ground.
On December 25, 2009 the new sport-center "ZHEST", which included a parkour area, opened.
From the first day "new" equipment began to break!
By now it's clear that it was made of poor-quality materials and without attention for safety.
"Unfortunately, we still confronted with the fact that the officials and builders save on the health of athletes. We wrote appeals to the governor and the prosecutor. We hope, that we will be heard."
