A Beginner's Point of View: The SFPK Monthly Jam

I definitely don't want to make it look like I am trying to criticize SFPK, but there are some things being discussed here that affect us all, so take a look, please.

The thread you are linking to deals about, as you say "The SFPK Monthly Jam"...
As you are aware, BApk "spun off" early 2008 from sfpk, for some of those very reasons that, according to that thread and a couple testimonials, are still valid.

In that thread (thank God!) nobody brought up BApk...

While I realize the thread talks about issues that relate to beginners, and BApk is beginners oriented, I don't see the point of linking to that thread, instead of, i.e., explaining, generalizing and eventually discussing the issues -from a more abstract point of view- here ("some things being discussed here that affect us all, so take a look...").
Partially that is done in this good thread here, btw.

Thus, I'm temporarily closing this thread to comments, while leaving it up, so that people can go and discuss sfpk issues (if any) where that discussion belong.

Unless we have those problems here too, it's really not BApk's "business" IMO, and we should stay positive and focus on our program and goals...
