...But i'm getting there.
I have been coming to jams and training sessions for 6 weeks now, and am truly enjoying it. I feel stress free when I am with the BApk crew. This may be a tiny insignificant revelation for the others I have met, but for me it's a huge step. I have Asperger's syndrome, which tends to make me socially inept, mind numbingly awkward, and a bit of an introvert. BAPK is a big milestone for me because it is the first time I have willingly joined a social group and not run screaming for the car fearing that everyone is judging me or being weirded out by me. I am happy to report that I very much enjoy coming to these events, I love the sport itself, and I love the people. Everyone is so friendly, helpful, patient and very cool. Alright enough sappy stuff~ The training!
I really like how demanding this sport is, I enjoy pushing myself, and I don't even mind the little bumps and scrapes.
So I finally got the kong about 50% which for me is huge! (yes Chris I know I have to put both feet down...at the same time!) I would like for my arms to be stronger, but I guess that comes with training and work.
Anyway, thanks to everyone for your continued support and wonderful community.
