Casting for a short film

Hey guys (and girls)!

I signed up about a year (maybe two?) with a... overly optimistic idea of how much time and energy I would have and devote to parkour. I'm still totally entranced with the idea of it, but I've found that there are other things that I'm more passionate about. :(

Which leads to this bit: the passion I found, that I slave over (and enjoy slaving over) is filmmaking - writing and directing. My friends and I are starting production on our third short film, which is set in a sci-fi shanty town. Our main character is a rough-and-tumble young woman, and I guess apparently most rough-and-tumble young women go into athletics instead of acting. If any parkour ladies would be interested in auditioning, I'd love to have you come and provide a break from the casting agency girls!

Would anybody be interested? We've got a bunch of bad guys (zeppelin troopers in masks and fatigues) and villagers to cast as well.

Where would the filming be and how much time would we need to dedicate to it? I'm interested (and I'm sure my brother is too), but am currently living in the South Bay, so it would be hard to get to San Fran often.

Bad guys would be one weekend of full days on location and then, if you're able to make it, another day of filming against bluescreen.

We're trying to figure out where our shanty town will be - it could well be out in the south bay somewhere...
