Hansen's Photo Contest

Jason, Niko, Natasha & I were conditioning on Sunday, and after a death defying hike through Mile Rock Beach, we came across a Hansen's Soda Truck. They're giving away $500 a week to the best photo showing off SF, so we'd greatly appreciate it if you voted for our photo. The setup is by the ramp at the Ocean Beach Seawall, and while me & Niko are freerunning, Natasha & Jason are relaxing and enjoying a couple sodas.

First off this is obviously not parkour and none of any persons directly involved with this picture have represented it as such.

Just to be clear, speaking only for myself:
- I do not endorse Hansen's Natural Soda nor any other highly processed, sugary beverages. In fact, drink water! Be inspired by the very admirable efforts of Alex.
- Since this came about after an awesome BApk session, I have said that if we win my share of the proceeds would go to the organization.

Still, Hansen's Natural Soda and their marketing team are trying to sell a product i.e. are commercially driven, so commercialism is involved here...although I see this as a fundraising opportunity.

In retrospect I should've/wish I'd taken the shirt off :\ Please excuse me if you're offended..

Also, it's not that anybody is saying that these are cool, or even less necessary, skills...

Comment by Fyrel on September 8, 2009 at 9:57pm: To be fair, this isn't exactly commercialism. It's using the skills they've learned from freerunning and applying it elsewhere. A gymnast can do this too, as could a breakdancer. Flips aren't exactly freerunning specific movements.
