Nice. Looks really sweet with the light behind you.

What would reeaaaally work well there is a lazy to cat (lazy turn).

Generally if you have a decent roll you won't feel pain, but that doesn't mean it can't result in long term damage. Leaning your weight forward is always a good idea though, I've always concluded that was the reason to do the arm swing during a jump. Good observations though.

also, I tried it with differing speeds, and more or less push out of the lazy just to experiment... pretty interesting...

Originally pushing harder sent my feet further from the wall, and I had more momentum. However, since I had to lean backwards to give the extra push, my body weight was behind me instead of infront of me, causing a much more difficult/ technical landing. So although I had more momentum the extra push actually negatively effected my entrance into my roll.

Then I gave a slightly weaker push to gain some momentum, but made sure my weight was far in front of me, which led to a much smoother bridge betwen first impact, leg spring technique, and roll.

Lesson Learned: having your weight forward is just as important as momentum

DID I ROLL?!

I THAT ACTUALLY A QUESTION?!

LOL of course I rolled. Not rolling off a drop that height would be catastrophic. Suprisingly I actually did the drop repeatedly without feeling any knee pain, although my quads were sore as hell the next day! (I think thats a good sign)

Let's hope you rolled after that! Still doesn't look healthy for your knees though....
