A website to foster traceuses worldwide has launched at
GirlParkour.com!
As others in the wider pk community, I'm excited to see something like this happen, even if I like to believe that females (
women/girls/ladies/gals... I use those three terms w/o distinction, aside maybe for age...) have already a strong role, i.e., within our small local community.
Also, I believe
it's a responsibility of all scenes to make sure that ALL their members have a significant role, no matter age, sex, weight, physical fitness, upper body strength, "
pop", a.s.o.
And, of course that everybody feels comfortable with becoming a community member to begin with.
With the parkour movement growing like it is, there will be so much to do (
and to say) for everybody that, while it's good to have separate sections of forums -and even training sessions- for special interest groups, we should make sure that everybody participates to our "general" community, w/o auto-segregating him/herself...
I wish this new site/forum best of luck and success, but
I'm asking everybody to double their efforts to make our community (
online and 'real life') a place where females keep wanting to come, train and talk!
