Bay Area Parkour

Train Hard - Stay Humble

Yamakazi in "Ensemble" by Apollo J

Best pk/music video I've seen by far. Really positive vibes with emphasis on a caring, helpful community.

Yamakasi is a group of people, with different ideas, that split some years ago, then reformed with different composition and are now (probably permanently) renamed as Majestic Force...

Parkour is a discipline pretty well defined by David Belle and collaborators; the definition of Parkour was one of the reason from David to break off from Yamakasi...

This video shows efficient, low risk movement across space, according to a good part of parkour definition (i.e.: it's not training, and it's not a real emergency, only a 'show'...), performed by members of the original Yamakasi, and now Majestic Force.

Please let's not rewrite history and definitions at every post only because we "dig" something....

This is not parkour!!! It is Yamakasi!!! more or less same thing!

Yeah, if anyone asks me what I'm training for, I will send them this video.

Most of the positive things about this video have been said already...I'd just like to add one thought.

If someone asks you what parkour is, this video would probably be a good example. It's awesome and portrays traceurs as helpful members of society instead of the hooligans we're portrayed to be a lot of the time.

Excellent video!

Really shows the spirit of Yamakasi (the discipline that is).
