After a 4-day crash course in parkour technique, training, and philosophy, Parkour Connections is taking their class of high school participants out to meet the community.
Believing community interaction and support to be a mainstay of parkour culture, we thought it was important to give the class the chance to see real traceurs in their natural environment. So we're taking a fieldtrip to one of CalPK's favorite training spots: Doe Memorial Library on the UC Berkeley campus. There, they will have the opportunity to meet members of the outdoor community and we'd love you to join us. Come jam with your friends and help welcome these newest members of our community!
(What? You mean THIS community?!? Why, yes, indeed we do...)
Comment
one of my students from Marin is coming even though he has school.
Its a "learning experience" that his parents believe in. This is a good jam to send any indoor class student to experience and be guided through their first outdoor jam
