Bay Area Parkour

Train Hard - Stay Humble

The topic came up earlier, and I thought I'd bring it up again. Some key questions would be:

How do we want to portray our community?

What message is the documentary trying to convey?

How and where do we want to distribute it?

Who is willing to contribute and what can they contribute?

These are just a couple questions to kick off the discussion, any other thoughts or questions about the documentary would be very welcome.

I'll be willing to chip in maybe $50 or so.
Wow, that would be great. Unfortunately I'm sorta poor, so I could only contribute about $25.

If we get more people, you probably wouldn't have to chip in that much.

Thanks for the help! You will definitely be one of the leaders of this project I think.
Ill contribute my soul. through and through =P
So, you're not contributing, right?
uh.....who is doing the most of filming and will sit at your house and help you edit?
This means I have to skip lunch for another week or two, doesn't it?

Hatechu guys. :(
lol you don't have to contribute if you don't want to. I might be able to contribute $10-$15...
Ok, so I'm making a list of equipment we will need for this project. This is what I have so far:

1. Cameras (I have one, but we could use one or two more.)

2. Audio equipment such as a mic for the camera, and a couple of mics that we can use to capture the sounds of different movements. (I am currently organizing the purchase of a high quality video mic.)

3. Editing programs (I have this pretty much taken care of.)

4. Tripods (We don't have any at this point.)

5. Lighting Stuff (Maybe)

PLEASE POST IN THIS THREAD OR ON THE "PHOTOGRAPHERS AND VIDEOGRAPHERS" GROUP IF YOU CAN SUPPLY ANY OF THIS EQUIPMENT!!!
So you are pretty much the de facto director of this project?
Well, not really, but I'm trying to get it started up.
Ugh.... The director thing...we NEED to appoint leaders. How bout its Me Alex And Fyrel. Does that sound fair to people?
multiple leaders don't work out, we need a leader, singular.
