A revealing inside look at parkour's positive impact on the "personal lives" of young traceurs.<br /> <br /> This sample video chapter, "Life Stories: From the Wall," is part of a longer form documentary: "PARKOUR SOUL" (a work in progress). This chapter focuses on interviews over a five year period with California traceurs of all skill levels. From beginners to the more advanced (ages 13-27) they all share their stories of how the discipline of parkour is having a positive effect in their own personal lives. 
<br /> <br /> When you are confronted with mental and physical obstacles, parkour teaches you how to "think different," how to overcome challenges, and how to empower yourself to live a better life. In the "Life Stories" chapter presented here -- the style and tone is intended to be more "self-reflective" -- revealing a more personal perspective on the young people involved with parkour. 
<br /> <br /> Future chapters can cover parkour pros demonstrating advanced techniques, the acrobatics of freerunning, competition, overcoming fear, "parkour-vision," acceptance from family and friends, a possible parkour roadtrip in Europe that mixes traceurs from different cultures, etc. Use of miniature GoPro HD video cameras and possible 3D segments can be explored.
