Shoulder roll from height to concrete = props. Good job, Alex!

so just jump farther, and have my feet spread wider. Otherwise good?

...the oddest noise (lol!) is still the shoes impact with the ground.

Let's see: the legs recoiling and roll setup look good to me.
But the jump seems about 8 feet high, while distance traveled mid-air about half of it... mhhh...
Maybe trying at 6 feet with a bit more forward lean and forward traveling?
Mind that it would carry much more momentum into the roll, thus watch out for the legs whipping... (and everything else too! Collarbone impact, etc); on the other hand it should reduce the vertical load to the ground.
Also feet a bit wider apart to stress the knees perfectly vertically.
:)

Beginners: Alex has very strong legs from competitive cross-country running, and has been practicing for almost 2 years.
Drops 6feet-up on hard pavements are challenging, micro-traumas inducing, and mostly unnecessary as routinary training. Your roll must be "down" on concrete from ground-level, before attempting it from any height.
