An Independent film maker asked me to for me to arrange something where he can shoot. (No stunts... he said Parkour. and he knows what that means.) The guy also mentioned that he wanted to know how Parkour ties in with our everyday lives.
Do you want to do this? He is interested i think more of a talk....less show.
hey this session i want to work on lengthening my kongs. at least outside. if you've got some ideas how that would be great.
in the gym i'd have no issues diving over longer blocks, but i'm holding back on the concrete - my hands touch down almost immediately after take off. maybe if we could find a long, lower obstacle with grass on the other side, that would be good to start with... thanks, teach' ;)
yo chris... who was the guy who had connections for throwing mats??? he was with ur in the last trning session... if you can find him can you have him call me please?
Funny story, I was surfing pkcali during my web design class tonight, and my prof comes up and says, "No way, you're into that stuff?" and I reply, "Um yeah." Apparently one of his friends takes your Acro class. Small world. I'll get a name next time :P
so uh, kaos umm... you wanna do some training wednsday (since theres no acrosports right?) this week? if your not busy or up for it, feel free to reccomend a spot.....
Kaos! You didn't come!!!! And guess what- your force was not with Frenchie....
there were 9 people in total Me, Alex, Benny, Jordan (French dude :P ), Kamau, + 2 new beginners, + a guy from new England- who has trained for 2 years. + another dude-
hah, yeah that was no fun. You know those ramps and railings near the small parking lot at GWHS? I was going to kong over a railing onto the parking lot, which is like 3 ft below ground level, but either my right hand slipped or missed the railing. So I let go of my left hand that way i don't catch my feet on the rail, and i crashed down, ironically, into the handicapped parking spot. I broke the fall with my hands, especially putting pressure on my right one, and my wrists took most of the punishment. I think it just goes to show you really need to be determined when you're approaching an obstacle, half of the problem was me goin "omfg what vault do i use" =\
my left wrist is pretty good now but my right one is just...useless
yo! i really enjoyed the training session we had yesterday =) hope you had fun too! sry i was late but i did my part in trying to get there as best i could. see you sunday?
