Train Hard - Stay Humble

So I went to the doctor today, and the first reaction he had was "What the hell did you do to your legs?"

So after explaining what had happened, and reciting my parkour pitch (still need to work on the wording: I still get the worried glance) he examined it and had me sent down to x-ray just in case. Gladly, no fracture or bone scrape; the tibia and fibula are strong bones. I really just need to take it easy until it heals completely.

But bloody hell, it still hurts to walk. >:(

Your wounds were a bloody mess, but glad the docs confirmed you'd survive..just keep in mind that it's certainly the first of many injuries on your path to becoming a Master Traceur..

I have ice kits in my first aid pack. I was about to get it out, but realized it would falter in the glory that is Hello Kitty.

Yeah, thank you very much for sharing the ice pack, Giorgio. I have a nice maleable strap-on pack at home I should have brought, if only I'd have known.

I'll be sure to work my arms while I leg my legs do their thing.

...weeeell... I, INSTEAD, shared my very dear Hello Kitty's icepack with Brody, which he seems to have liked enough.
(Not sure if he would have liked the store above Castro, where I got it... lol!)

Thus, I have just requalified as "sensitive bastard", and I'm very happy about it.
=D

[disposable ice packs -like this- are not an iffy idea, especially in the deep south bay, where this 'uncle' and his Hello Kitty kit is not always present...]

Chris, you are a heartless bastard. Then again, so was I, not being too concerned with getting to a doctor and all that (for the same reasons).

Hope you have a quick and complete recovery.

Forgive me for not being too worried at the jam. I'm not doctor, but I've seen (and had) many similar bumps. In the meantime, work on that upper body ;)
