If you just watched MTV's "Ultimate Parkour Challenge" you may have a few reactions:
"Wow, those guys are amazing!" "Holy S#it that's sick! I gotta try it. "OK, this is seriously dangerous..." in any case, there's a few things you need to know:
1. We are not suicidal - the object is NOT to subject yourself to danger. Quite the contrary, we practice safely and progressively.
2. This is a discipline, it takes training, hard work, and dedication to become good, but ANYONE can get started.
3. Parkour (and Freerunning) are fun! This beats the crap out of running on a treadmill or pumping some crazy arm machine.
