Removing scuff marks

Even "non marking" shoes will occasionally leave a unsightly scuff on the walls we all practice on, and eventually it all adds up. What are your methods for removing the marks on walls? An APK thread suggested that tennis balls work well, and I was wondering if that Mr. Clean Magic Eraser would work. Any other suggestions? Has anybody had experience with other cleaning agents such as bleach?
