Train Hard - Stay Humble

Inspiration from anything for everyone!!! (warning: videos...)

Every now and then, I find myself a little "short on my dough" and going to the Y-M-C-A doesn't help... (Village People, 1978)
That's when I turn to YouTube for something REALLY inspirational, and usually not-directly-parkour-related, yet parkour transferable...

I will post a couple of my favorites, asking you to do the same, if you wish (embed or link), but trying to avoid obvious repetitions, uninspired commercials and predictable vids.
Also, writing a line, a title, or the reason why you deem it inspirational is nice, as well as keeping comments brief and as direct replies to each individual post...
=)
[This will also keep our video section free from non-pk clips...]

I'll start out...

Makes me ask myself when vaulting is actually faster or more efficient:
...when you cannot run 2 miles at 14/mph, hurdling 3' obstacles.
Or when obstacles are more than 3'...
=)

(ah! Forgot about the 12' water pit...)
Speed vault is more energy efficient I must say....but they are pretty consistent....
back to dancing: Cossacks obviously "got it" already about 100 years ago...

Kirill is gonna love this... =)
...c-RES-iest parkour tutorial ever!
MANGO's Muscle-ups...

(from BApk friend "Res" at PKBC in Vancouver, Canada)

and, of ourse, the sequel: MANGO 2 The Revenge:

(...come back Mango... you ARE the best!!!)
No excuses!

A recent thread made me think back about this: practice humbly, practice hard... progress steadily or slowly... train safely or leap surely...
BUT PRACTICE!
Wow, that video is awesome. My friends make those excuses ALL THE TIME......I'm just going to send them this video whenever they start complaining. Truly inspirational.
hell yes

...showed this to my daughter to convince her to practice (violin...), and what I got in return was "he forgot to say I'm too old".

I wonder where she's got that from.

:\

This is basically my personal thread (I wish I could move them to my blog, maybe I will copy them one-by-one...), but you are welcome to pitch in (of course!)...

More from the Bball world, hope you remember His Airness:
I love Jordan's commercials. They are powerful and simple.
also awesome
