Bay Area Parkour

Train Hard - Stay Humble

there is currently a weekly session at de anza college (cupertino) for all those interested. its sundays at 12, and usually runs till around 3, then we usually go get jamba juice/togos.

there are not any experienced traceurs, and it is a pretty small session so any skill level is welcome

De Anza College is an awesome spot!
Just a little too far to drive down Mariners and East Bayers...

Exactly a year ago BApk had it's first joint session with North and South Bay members getting together...
(lots of training since then...lol!)
The area has high potential (check image on the event page), and we might have very well just tapped it, there could be more.

Security didn't have a problem with us exercising (some of us where students there -kind of-...), or doing plyometrics, but of course they wouldn't want to see us to hitting benches and even lower rails w/o drops.
But other than that, if one shows serious sweat and organized training he'll be generally respected.
The area is huge and best is just moving along, hitting some trees, stairs, handicapped ramps and such...
;)

Sculptures, and inside spaces (i.e.: olympic pool area) -even if very tempting- should be definitely avoided, though...
:)
the security doesnt seem to care that we do it, but seem to think that they to tell us to stop. "uhh yeah. can you like, not do stunts"

im not suggesting that everyone rush over, but if anyone is in the area and wants to get started, or go to a weekly session then feel free to stop by. please post so we know if you are coming.

thats the original thread, you can more or less ignore most of the pages, just read the first few posts, and skip to the end to see if anything gets updated before each session
hold on -- where at de anza do you guys meet up? I'm interested in joining your events. :D

-edit-

ahh, i didn't see your link before i posted. that was bad of me. never mind - and thanks!
on sundays we go to de anza college, on saturdays we switch off between serra park and de anza PARK. sorry for the confusion
