I remember seeing this some time ago and thinking: "why do I have to listen to the ignorance of Mrs. Salters, over and over, in order to watch a good documentary on the possible positive socio-economic impact of Pakour?".

A lot of people say a lot of stupid things... the real question is only who'll be next...
True...very true
the hell's wrong with that lady?!

yeesh. the ignorance in her words physically pained me.

never stop growing, never stop learning :]
This video is a mix of the original ESPN E:60 piece and the Jump Westminster video by Julie Angel.

In defense of Lisa Salters, there are many things said in an editorial conference room that would be embarassing if viewed out of context by the public. At the end of the E:60 piece she does at least learn to respect the dedication and training required, even if she doesn't consider parkour a sport (which has many personal definitions including some that require competition).
Racist bitch!!!!!!!
Using misogyny to call out racism is not helpful.
rofl
wow logical fallacies to the max :p
can you say red herring and false cause ??
Well, I don't think she is stupid, but she is one of the most ignorant people I have ever seen.

And she was completely wrong abut Black people. Sebastian?!?!?! Last time I checked he was the "co-founder!"
and Forrest...
and Kamau!!! (what the heck...)

The first time I heard that, I felt offended "on behalf of all black people"!
lol! yea, i mean, that was pretty unnecessary.... It hurt me especially, and i kind of appreciated it when the other people around her shared more positive opinions and critisized her about the comment. but seriously, wtf, her comments were pointless and VERY bold in my opinion.
