Guardian Games Charity Event

Hi Everyone,

On august 21, 2011 (a Sunday) Guardian Art is throwing a charity event called Guardian Games. It is an obstacle course competition that tests and challenges its competitors mentally and physically. Different obstacles will be setup that will require contestants to use a wide variety of skill sets to overcome, such as climbing, jumping, balancing, and decision making. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 of each category. All contestants will receive a FREE Guardian Art T-shirt for their participation and support!

Competitors will be divided into groups based on age and gender (must be at least 8 years of age to compete); these groups will be determined based on the pool of registrants. Everyone is welcome to participate in this fundraising event! Register now to reserve your spot!

 

What am I getting myself into?
You will not be dealing with easy types of obstacles such as running across tires. You will be challenged. You will be thrilled. Be prepared to fall. But don’t worry...we have safe crash pads to land on.

You don’t need to have skills beyond your natural playground abilities to run, jump, and climb.

•   Free Guardian Art Open Gym Admissions ($10 value) on July 23rd, 2011 and August 6th, 2011! (You must be registered at the time of the specific open gym dates to receive free admission, which means you do not get any open gym refunds if you register after those specified open gym dates.)
  Open gym is your chance to prepare yourself for the Guardian Games. Experience the unique equipment and learn from the many gifted athletes that attend. So register early and get up to 2 free admissions to open gym!

This event and the games that are a part of the event are designed to help increase the awareness of the horrible living conditions that Native Americans across the continent have been forced to live in. The proceeds of the Guardian Games will be given to the Native Americans of the Pine Ridge reservation in South Dakota to help change and improve the living conditions upon the reservation they live. Challenge yourself in this special event and help raise funding and awareness and support to help the Native Americans of the Sioux Tribe on the Pine Ridge reservation. So take on the challenge… and help save the world.
