Gym Jam & Slumber Party at CrossFit Marin Friday May 22nd

We're having a little gym jam at 7:30pm followed by a slumber party with dinner (choice of Puerto Rican cuisine, pizza, or In-N-Out burgers. Bring $$ for food.) We'll probably throw a parkour related movie in the projector as well. You can bring any that you recommend and we can vote on it in the gym. We're mainly trying to accomodate people from out of town attending the West Coast Jam for the slumber party. If there is still room available, we encourage locals to join us as well. There are public women's and men's restrooms, plus one bathroom with a shower. The gym can comfortably accomodate 16 people, but we'll cap it at 24, which would be a little crowded. The gym is located less than 15 minutes away from the meeting point in the Presidio for the West Coast Jam. Please RSVP if you are planning on coming / and or sleeping over.

Hey guys, thanks to everybody that came to join us. I had a great time. Besides all the vaulting and rope-swinging, wall running and cat jumping I think my favorite part was watching Wasabe dive over Haley's fort while Haley chopped off his head with her foam sword. That was pretty much the clincher. It was fun having the pre-party at our place and meeting all the cool cats before the jam. I'll work on uploading some of those pics after I catch up on some of the busy work here and get a little rest. I still hurt from Saturday =P

blogging from the slumber party: I'm beaten! Don't know how I'm gonna make it tomorrow, and Sunday...

Here the kids (20+, 3/4 from SoCal led by Wasabe ) are still busting after dinner Capohera moves, while before we have been vaulting and jumping on anything that moved and not (this includes various ropes and Rebbeh's rented car...).

Amadreus has been an exquisite host (we basically took over the place) food has been plentiful and cheap, and the company the best possible (in the PK world, at least...).

So: "it's all good!"

sorry mates, cant do it on account of several factors,

1- no money
2- no transport
3-saturdays the MWCJ, and sundays the monthly,

gotta save my money and energy!

I think that at this point we still have enough room to accomodate everybody who is interested in coming. We just scored a big ass 12' mat courtesy of the city of Corte Madera today. I think a couple more people can sleep on it. hehe. Just be sure to bring your bedding to stay warm and some deodorant. =P Call me if you have any questions. I'm planning to drive there after the Silent Session... unless something nonsensical comes up. :\

So if everything runs smoothly, I'll have another spot available besides Niko and Bonez... somebody else mentioned it, but didn't confirm.

We would be picking up this "lucky one" at Castro past 7pm...

looking forward to this, as well as the west coast jam. This would be my first, Andres from crossfit told me about it. how much room is there gonna be? if i could bring a few others it would be awesome...
