I find the ego-fest format pretty hard to stomach, and nothing very impressive ever happens because the objects they have to use are just boxes and bars. I've seen regular competitors like Tim do very impressive things outside, but what impresses me about people like him is their intuitive use of an irregular environment. What happens in a Freerunning competition is neither Parkour nor Freerunning; just bad gymnastics.
